And the winner is: Tyler Florence

With the South Beach Food Network Awards over and done with, it’s now onto the more important question; which male Food Network chef is the hottest?

The winner, not surprisingly, is Tyler Florence with 46% of the votes.  Not bad for a guy who makes the “ultimate” dish.  I guess HE is the ultimate dish.  OK that was a really bad joke and I apologize.

I was a bit surprised to see that Alton Brown, perhaps my favorite male chef, came in second with 21% of the total vote.  Maybe everyone really likes all of his gadgets…I think I’ll leave that one alone.

  3. My wife and I met Tyler at the Texas Wine and Food festival a couple of years ago. He is one of the most polite young men we’ve ever met. He stood to shake hands, listened intently to my comments then thanked us for stopping to talk to him. I got an autographed copy of “Eat This Book.” My wife thinks he’s cute and a hunk.

Hey…heres another Duff fan…..Im an amature cake decorator and I have learned so much about fondant from watching Duff and his talented team…..Duff is a nice looking young man and I may be a little biased because I have a son who is 22 and looks exactly like Duff…..infact I sent a few pictures of my son into Ace of Cakes, I had my son put on my ace of cakes hat that I have, sunglasses and wrote “Duff Rules” on his knockles like Duff wrote ‘Bake Cake” on his…..they did answer me and said that my son was a “dead ringer”…….anyway I tape every episode of Ace of Cakes…..all the other guys are ok….but they can’t compare to Duff….I don’t compare looks that much anyway..I compare the talent that these people have…..so in my book…DUFF RULES……………
